South Carolina Fall Festivals - Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Benefit Concert during the 35th Annual Kingstree Pig Pickin' FestivalWell it’s that time of year when fall festivals are spreading all over America along with the falling leaves and the smell of funnel cakes and barbeque. Since becoming a part of the 35th Annual Kingstree Pig Pickin’ Festival this year to produce the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Benefit Concert, I have quickly realized that barbeque is big business in South Carolina. You have barbeque bloggers, papers, magazine, websites, forums, videos, books, clothing and just about anything else that you can think of!
However the best thing I have found out of all of my searching is that the statewide and nationwide value of friends and family and community stills seems to be holding as strong as ever.
